Léonard Kahn
In 2008 Léonard Kahn was studying for a Master’s Psychology. His volte-face was one of total insouciance. He discovered psychodrama (therapy and dramatisation) simmering within him, sealing his fate, to flourish on a theatre stage.
Spreading his wings, he began lessons in amateur dramatics at the IREP Scènes Théâtre, and, just like that, wrote and directed his first piece Le cimetière de Richard, before moving on to the Scène sur Saône Professional Drama School.
In 2012 he took flight with the WAZO MIGRATOR company, with whom he co-wrote and directed Sanglimoule, then, not missing a beat, he wrote and directed Nosferatu, a symphonic, dark and disturbing piece.
He encountered circus arts when working with the company Corlao. Since then, he has been a fervent advocate of variety in the arts.
He is now a odd little bird, the sworn enemy of Kiki.
His passion for cinema led him to take up directing, winning several awards and festival selections. Self-taught, he made a dozen short films.
