After studying humanities and philosophy and completing some stage direction assistantships (Oskar Gomez-Mata, Arthur Nauzyciel), Célia Houdart dedicated herself to writing.

She is the author of three novels: “Carrare” (P.O.L, 2011), “Le Patron” (P.O.L, 2009), “Les Merveilles du monde” (P.O.L, 2007) and an essay: “Georges Aperghis. Avis de tempête”, (Intervalles, 2007).

Her work includes scripts for the theatre (Diva live, Les Arbres sous-marins, À demi endormi déjà), an opera libretto “Fréquences” and prose poems to be set to dance (Annabelle Pulcini, Sylvain Prunenec). Since 2008, she has composed, in collaboration with Sebastien Roux, pieces broadcast in the form of soundscapes, installations and radio performances. This year, they created the diptych “Oiseaux/tonnerre” (Birds/thunder) (Marseille-Provence 2013).
