Paloma González Helguera (1989, Uruguay)

Skin painting artist. She graduated from the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay (2010), a member of the world body painting association and a teacher in advanced training in Visual and Plastic Communication at the Instituto de Profesores Artigas.

Trained in Uruguay and Austria, I have developed in direction, design and production of new media make-up, scenery, costumes and props since 2009, in the performing arts (Carnival, Theater), plastic arts (Exhibition) and audiovisual media (Short film, Feature film, video clip, video art, live co-creation). I develop on three thematic guidelines; the intangible, the ephemeral and our actions as a human species in a world-time. Influenced by nature, non-border and education.

I conclude in a hybrid art through the fusion of various expressions such as painting, staging, video, biological music, mapping, performance installation, poetry and technology; sensors, network co-creation. My works have been presented, awarded and published in Uruguay, Mexico, Austria and Argentina.
