Benito Gonzales
Born in Hermosillo, Sonora, México. Started dance studies in the late 80’s. Co founder of the pop scenic project called Quiatora Monorriel in 1992.
He has made more than 50 choreographies for Quiatora Monorriel and other dance groups.
Benito has shared his dance works in Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, USA, Germany, Belguim and all along the mexican republic.
His artistic interests range between choreography, video, photography and sound.
Under the name of Conasupo he obtained two times the best original music award of the National Dance Award in México (2006 and 2009).
González has a degree in choreography for the National Dance School in México and he is since 2010 part of the Artists’ National System of the National Found for Culture and Arts (FONCA).
