Julien Fournet

A budding adventurer who later trained as a philosopher, Julien Fournet tries to recapture in live performance « les grandes excitations vécues lors des classes vertes de son enfance » (“the great excitement of his childhood green school days”). Before becoming director of Amicale de production in 2010 – a cooperative for live projects set up with Antoine Defoort and Halory Goerger, whose work includes Germinal (2012) – he explored a wide spectrum of experiences, from literary balls to guided tours. A jack-of-all-trades, he is currently pursuing two creative avenues. One is a collective exploration of the notion of play (kit shows and labyrinths), the other a solitary but no less joyful one, in which he takes up major philosophical questions.
