Safaa Fathy

Safaa Fathy was born in Egypt. She obtained a doctorate from the University of Paris IV Sorbonne in 1993. She was (2010-2016) program director at the Collège International de Philosophie. She is a poet, filmmaker and essayist. She wrote Ordeal and Terror, a work prefaced by Jacques Derrida with whom she also wrote a book, Tourner les mots. on the edge of a film.
