Compagnie PARC

PARC is co-founded in 2004 by Émilie Tournaire, Pierre Treille and himself. Collaboration, meeting, dialogue are all words that come to the choreographer to talk about his work.

Nourished by an academic training, Pierre Pontvianne likes to dismantle it, to take an interest in the human, the living, the sensitive. Through the different creations of the company, it’s the singularity of artist who is revealed. Pierre Pontvianne does not enter any trend, he is out of format, out of diagrams. He develops his work in a slow process of maturation, he likes the idea of timelessness, the idea that a work continues on the time of a life. He likes the idea of fidelity (…) that he puts to work by working with faithful accomplices who cross and re-cross his path according to the projects.
