SOPHIE ROUSSEAU / Compagnie Maître Guillaume
Musician, dancer, Sophie Rousseau is Associate Professor in the Paris Higher National Conservatory of Music and Dance (CNSMD), where she provides musical courses for dancers. She is also a teacher for the Toulouse and Poitiers CESMD. Artistic Director for the Maître Guillaume Company, she has initiated a reflexion on the relationships between music and dance, associated with teaching and creation practices.
ROMAIN PANASSIÉ / Compagnie Maître Guillaume
Dancer and assessor of movement, graduate of the Paris CNSMD, and with a State Diploma in contemporary dance, Romain Panassié has performed for Maryse Delente, Marc Vincent, Florence Pageault, Nathalie Adam, Olivier Bioret, among others. He works on projects, in partnership with performers of the original works, where extracts from the contemporary repertoire are transmitted using choreographic scores. His research is specifically focused on the dynamic relationships between dance and music and, based on this, he has created two solos: “Diamonds and Rust” and “Ballata Nuova”.
