Compagnie les mains les pieds et la tête aussi

The  association Les Mains, les Pieds et la Tête Aussi (Compagnie Mpta) was  founded in Lyon (Rhône-Alpes region), in 2001, by Mathurin Bolze. Its work is focussed on research, creation and the promotion of contemporary circus arts. 
Compagnie Mpta regularly performs its creations, collaborative projects and the work of apprentices in France and abroad. 
We  are entrusted with events and carte blanche commissions as our  collective is closely involved with a vast network of artists working in  new and original art forms.
Creator and performer, involved in conception, research, tour management and artistic consultancy, Mathurin Bolze  continually strives to bring together artistic and human affinities in  his search for new approaches to movement and performance arts. 

Since 2011, in conjunction with Les Célestins – Théâtre de Lyon, Compagnie Mpta has been running the festival utoPistes – a biennial event devoted to circus arts and utopias big and small.
