Col’jam
Col’jam is a leading contemporary dance company in Morocco, directed by associate choreographers Ahlam EL MORSLI (Morocco) and Wajdi GAGUI (Tunisia), both committed artists who wear many hats.
The company produces shows and performances with a repertoire of around twenty creations, and is also the organiser of the international contemporary dance and performance festival ‘Les Rencontres Chorégraphiques de Casablanca’, and its extension ‘Escale Rbatia’, which takes place in Casablanca.

Its aim is to create an international professional dynamic and develop the art and culture of choreography in Morocco and elsewhere.
Col’jam’s aim is to democratise dance in Morocco, and it is carrying out a major educational awareness-raising campaign through artistic and social projects, as well as a number of training courses aimed at professionalising local artists.
The company also sets up artistic practice centres. Its work consists of linking up state, private and voluntary organisations, in order to jointly develop artistic projects and interventions in: detention centres for minors, prisons, child protection associations, schools, etc.
At the same time, Col’jam supports production, distribution and international collaboration, and maintains a permanent dynamic in the organisation of cultural and artistic activities: festivals, meetings, workshops, debates, shows, etc.
