Martial Chazallon

My diverse background has fuelled my curiosity and given me a cross-disciplinary vision of my favourite subject: our relationship with the world. I combine contemplation, listening and observation with an energy focused on action, relationships and creation. These two facets come together to imagine collaborative projects that take shape and evolve like an encounter.

Five years of research in the social sciences, twenty years of choreographic creation, and five years of therapeutic support have shaped me into a hybrid, open-minded, polyglot being, always driven by the desire to explore the world in search of the Other.

30 years of exploration around the world

My experience of teaching is rich and varied, with collaborations in higher education establishments, art centres, museums, continuing education programmes and schools in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa.

As a trainer, I have been working for many years with children, young people, adults, people with disabilities and professionals from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.

A community

I weave links between worlds that don’t know each other, and by working together we grow this community of individuals who are open to others, to life in all its forms and to the world.

This community is my team: a community of artists, researchers, committed professionals, the curious… that is enriched and that I bring together for each project. 

I activate the levers of spin-off, crossover, cross-fertilisation, acculturation, horizontality, sharing, participation, cooperation and all the other forms that encounters can take.
