Silvia Bazilis
She began her formal ballet studies at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón; At the end of his studies in 1973, she joined the Estable Ballet of the Teatro Colón. In 1977, she was promoted to first ballerina after performing in Giselle with the Russian Vladimir Vasiliev.
She has played in Giselle, Swan Lake and Carmen, among others. She was the partner of Raúl Candal, Maximiliano Guerra and Julio Bocca.
She retired from the stages of the Estable Ballet of the Teatro Colón in 1994, dancing the premiere of the ballet Oneguin, with choreography by John Cranko, with Raúl Candal and Maximiliano Guerra. A year later, he would say goodbye to the stage definitively, dancing with Julio Bocca the pas de deux from Romeo and Juliet at Luna Park.
Since 1996 she has worked as a teacher at the Julio Bocca Foundation, she is also a teacher trainer for dancers who wish to participate in international competitions.
