Ballets contemporains Karin Waehner

 In 1958, Karin Waehner founded her own company “Les ballets contemporains Karin Waehner” with which she created more than 40 choreographies. The Labyrinth, The Waiting, The Songs of Odetta, Primitive Discourse, The Steps all reflect this unavoidable desire to speak with movement. Each show is the subject of research and improvisation work with the dancers as well as with musicians and visual artists. What emerges is an accomplished work, faithful to the preoccupations of its time.
