Being surrounded by people who share my ambitions, support me and encourage me to go beyond my limits is the essential foundation of my artistic quest. I am ATTISSOUGBE MISSISSO Kokou Thomas, a young Togolese dancer who successfully completed the three-year training course entitled ‘Corps Pour XXIIe Siècle Acte II’ in Mali at DON SEN FOLO in collaboration with les INACHEVÉS and COMPAGNIE AUGUSTE BIENVENUE. My artistic journey is based on the desire to express my dance to the world, to meet others and to engage in exchanges to nourish my human and artistic growth. Interpretation, performance and choreography are the disciplines I use to share my creativity with the world. Inspired by my own experience, my daily life and that of those around me, I’m constantly enriching my art, always on the lookout for new knowledge and experiences. Having completed my training, I remain determined to showcase Togo’s diversity and cultural richness through my dance. My deepest motivation lies in the desire to contribute to the evolution of my native society and, more globally, to that of the world. So, in charting my course, I’m committed to being an active agent of change, conveying universal messages through my art, in a perpetual quest for positive impact.
