Ellina Akimova

Ellina AKIMOVA is a musician, composer and pianist.

Since 2000, she has been directing the ‘La Danse accompagnée’ collection, sharing and passing on her experience as a pianist accompanist gained at the Paris Opera Ballet School, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Moïseïev Studio School and the Baku Opera after studying piano and musicology in Azerbaijan.

His compositions and improvisations for piano, chamber ensembles and orchestra, published by Mediaphorie, include nine volumes dedicated to accompanying dance classes, ballets (The Snow Queen, Ballu in Corti), theatre music (Camille, La Mouette) and chamber music (Suite Caspienne, Un Bonheur parfait, Médianoche, Twinkles).

During the Paris Opera Ballet School performances, Ellina AKIMOVA was able to showcase her talents as an instrumentalist on the Palais Garnier stage, performing live J. Brahms’ Variations on the Theme of Paganini for Violette Verdy’s ballet Variations, as well as J.S Bach’s Concerto in D for Claude Bessy’s ballet.
