Choreographer and performer Sarah Adjou has developed a singular and intriguing body language. She composes movement from the sensations that run through the body during everyday actions. Working with the singularity and imagination of each performer, she creates a contemporary dance that is precise and physically demanding.

She trained in workshops with companies such as Batsheva, L.E.V, New Dialect, Ultima Vez, Peeping Tom, Akram Khan…
She regularly works as a choreographer and performer for short films (commercials, personal projects, music videos) and collaborates with artists from other disciplines: directors, designers, musicians and visual artists.
She also performs for companies such as Consensus-Aline Derderian and Tango Unione.

Artistic director of the Yasaman company, she began her creative work with short forms: the solo Introspection (2016) and two trios, Genèse d’Ève (2017) and Exhibition (2019), presented at festivals, open stages and competitions.
His first piece KHÁOS presents the evolution of 5 dancers, from organic matter to personal identity. This was followed by Entrelacs, a short film for 4 dancers and 2 musicians, between strings and choreography, with violinist Lina Pamart and cellist Emmanuel Leclerc. His latest project is the short film SILO, an in situ creation in collaboration with director Jérémie Bouillon and composer-drummer Sébastien Brun. This film for 8 dancers will give rise to her next show, SONAR, which is currently being created.
At the same time, she is collaborating with sculptor Ambre
Cardinal for a dance and sculpture performance on the evolution of the female figure in sport: HERAIA.
