Founded in 1993, yvann alexandre company is a professional contemporary dance company based in the Pays de la Loire region.
From the outset, the company has been committed to the interplay between professionals, amateurs and the public, developing its creations on stage or in situ, and weaving a policy of exchanges, encounters and training.
In 2019, the company has taken over the artistic direction of the Théâtre Francine Vasse in Nantes with an atypical project looking at other artistic teams, and which starts with transmission to arrive at the work: Les Laboratoires Vivants. Faithful to its links with Quebec, it is developing Archipel, an agile cooperation platform for artistic mobility. In 2023, the company signed 30 YEARS OF DANCE! with the production of the film Une île de danse, based on the company’s repertory pieces.
