The Compagnie NAO troupe is federated around hybrid artistic projects imagined by choreographer Nawel Oulad, ranging from stage shows to performances, installations and films.
Specializing in impromptu and InSitu creations, Compagnie NAO regularly performs in museums, castles and other heritage sites, proposing a constant dialogue between the visual arts, architecture and the dancing body.

Dancer and choreographer Nawel Oulad trained in contemporary dance at the RIDC (rencontres internationales de danse contemporaine) at the CNSMDP (Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris) and with Christiane de Rougemont in Dunham technique. She obtained her certificate in dance movement psychopedagogy in 2009 and her Diplôme d’Etat in 2011.
She dances in creations by Christian Bourigault, Claire Jenny, Mie Coquempot, Odile Cougoule, Nadia Vadori Gauthier, Aurore Del Pino…
She completed her dance training with university studies in sociology and visual arts, and practiced cello, singing and theater.
These different artistic and intellectual disciplines nourish her creations, which she has been developing with the NAO company since 2011.

Since 2017 she has regularly teamed up with director Antonin Sgambato to create dance films, some of which can be seen on the Numeridanse.tv platform.
Since 2024 she has been developing creations that she co-signs with Gael Giraud within the GONG company. That same year, during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, she was chosen to choreograph the inauguration of the pedestrian crossing linking the Stade de France to the Olympic aquatic center, and was a torchbearer in Seine Saint Denis. A department in which she grew up and which has supported her artistic work since 2018.
