The contemporary physical dance ballet was created in 2015 by choreographer David LLARI.

Contemporary physical dance is a language based on the intention behind the gesture. The movement danced, inhabited with authenticity, emancipates itself from all forms of existing dance. The dancer, in his or her full identity, can then serve the author’s pieces.

The result of choreographic anticipation and research, the BDPC’s choreographies take a unique look at the world and society. In addition to dance-specific stages, the BDPC performs in public spaces, monuments, museums and urban areas that are less used to hosting cultural events. The BDPC has recruited its dancers internationally, from France, England and Germany. The BDPC has its own composers, a team of audiovisual technicians, administrative staff and a network of temporary collaborators from a variety of artistic disciplines.
