Crysael

Chris West and Gaël Grzeskowiak met during their first dance classes at a dance association in Yvelines in 2008. They struck up a friendship and developed an easy, fluid artistic connection. It’s a connection they’ll keep for the rest of their careers as professional dancers.

They take part in a variety of projects, together or individually, in a wide range of artistic fields:

• Companies (Yasaman, Manon Bouquet, Tango Union, Pelmelo…)
• Operas (Opéra de Paris, Opéra de Lyon…)
• Television/Touring (Soprano, Dadju, Gims, Vendredi sur Mer, Shy’m…)
• Events (Olympic Games opening ceremonies with Alexander Ekman and Maud le Pladec, Mugler, Balmain fashion shows…)
• Cinema (Andréa Bescond’s Les chatouilles, André Téchiné’s Nos années folles)

  And many other diverse projects…

After a few years in which their respective careers became increasingly important, the desire to work together on a creative project became essential.
They founded the Crysael company in 2023, thanks in particular to the support and guidance of the Théâtre de Suresnes Jean Vilar, with Juste un moment, a play for two performers, as their first creation.
