Gil Carlos Harush

A choreographer, dance teacher and psychotherapist, he was born in Israel and trained at Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts in Tel Aviv. In 2007, he joined the CODARTS Rotterdam Dance Academy in the Netherlands. He creates his first choreographies and gains experience with choreographers from all over Europe and Israel. His work is inspired by situations in everyday life and human relationships, combining theatricality, physical performance and humor, and focuses on visual elements. In 2010, back in Israel, he founded Ensemble Gil Carlos & Family in Tel Aviv. The same year, he won the Israeli Union of Performing Arts Award and was invited around the world to give master classes. He creates many pieces worldwide between 2011 and 2016. Since 2017, he teaches in Geneva. He created The Heart of my Heart for the Ballet de l’OnR in March 2018.
