Marcos Maroc
Marcos Marco is a Choreographer and visual artist,
Born in Santander, Spain, Marcos had a classical dance education graduated at Real Conservatorio Madrid in 1997.
He joined the Ballet National de Marseille in 1998 where he had a long and rich carrer until 2016.
Marcos has work with artist as : Carollyn Carlson, Rui Horta, Nacho Duato, Richard Werlock, William Forsyte, Claude Brumachon, Thierry Malandain, Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Tero Saarinen, Frédéric Flamand, Stephen Petronio…
He began his way as a choreographer in 2008; His works have been recognized in several choreography contest as: Hanover competition Choreograpy, Certamen Coreografico de Madrid, Certamen internacional de coreografía Burgos – Newyork.
In 2007 the region of Cantabria recognizes Marcos’s work in favor of the art and diffusion of Cantabria’s name all around the world.
In 2013 he was awarded the jury prize of the Madrid Choreography contest with the duet Josephine’s shoes.
