Globule un solo pour deux | création 2011

creation for young audiences 2011

For the first time in 20 years of creation, Y. Alexandre has created a piece for scenic spaces and specifically for young audiences. Globule, a solo for two, explores in a playful way all the systems of movement of the fish in its bowl, playing with its scales and its fins, turning in circles, and being surprised by its reflection. A little mermaid fish telling us his imaginary and fairy tales.

A weightless body in a bullish universe, a glass sphere full of air bubbles. A space which despite its smallness leaves room for the details that abound in this room. This choreographic tale offers us an interpretation, sometimes light, liquid and mischievous, sometimes melancholy and dark when it questions domestication, artificial life and confinement … You are immersed in Globule’s jar, a solo for two.

a body that turns in circles, in weightlessness.

no headlong rush but …

move forward, twirl, twirl up and down,

seek oxygen, enjoy the silence,

adorn themselves with luminous scales,

invent a bubble, love each other and try chases …

Globule, a solo for two, swims in a space without any concern,

no memory, no danger.

in total dependence …

it could be a bubble fish that we are looking at …

it could be …
