Corpo de Baile - Lord Palace Hotel

”Corpo de Baile-Lord Palace Hotel”  (2004) is a documentary by Arnold Pasquier on the danced action of the group of Brazilian performers Corpo de Baile. It was produced at the “Lord Palace Hotel”, São Paulo, Brazil, on November 7th, 2004.  

Remark by Arnold Pasquier in 2019 :  

“In  2004, I went to São Paulo, Brazil, for five months, as part of a “Villa  Medicis Hors-les-murs” residency to make the film “Celui qui aime a raison”.  There, I met those who would become the actors in the film, including Marcos Gallon, dancer and choreographer Out of interest for his work and to sustain a relationship based on exchange, I suggested to film and edit a recording of the show he proposed in an abandoned hotel in the centre of São Paulo. This would be one of the last productions by this choreographer, who, the following year, entered the service of the contemporary art gallery Galeria Vermelho, where he has since managed the renowned VERBO  performance festival.”
