“P.R. / On Line (Home Studio)” is a choreographic piece created in 2001, made up of two very different parts for which Pascale Bondu and François Raffinot designed the lights, Fiametta Horvat the costumes, and Emmanuel Fléty the live video recording system.

Lasting roughly 30 minutes, the first part, “P.R.”, is interpreted by Patrick Rébus, accompanied by Benny Sluchin on the trombone to a musical work by Luca Francesconi, “Animus”.

The second part, “On Line”, of the same duration, is interpreted by Joanne Leighton, accompanied by Hae-Sun Kang on the violin to the musical work “Anthèmes 2” by Pierre Boulez.

The piece was created at the Ircam-Centre Georges Pompidou on September 20th, 2001, and was presented in Cologne as part of the Heiss Festival in December 2002 and at the Forum du Blanc-Mesnil in 2003.

“”P.R”. are the initials of Patrick Rébus, a longstanding artist companion. They are also the initials of my father, Paul. The piece is a portrait that explores breathing and falling as the clone of another.
“On Line” is a portrait by Joanne Leighton, a choreographer whose work I admire and whom I love to see dance (…).
I added to this name “(Home Studio)” in brackets, to indicate that the show must be understood as a “chamber study”. »
