By combining juggling with contemporary dance and hip-hop-infused movement, ‘Bruit de Couloir’ evokes the different stages of life – from childhood to old age – and represents emotional states through the body and the juggling balls.
Plunged into chiaroscuro, as though suspended on the edge of the world, ‘Bruit de Couloir’ is a poetic journey that examines our feelings when, near death, we run through a last moment of the film of our life.
By combining hip-hop-infused movement with juggling and contemporary dance, the show evokes fragments of emotions and life through the body, the juggling balls and juggling itself.
‘Bruit de Couloir’ thus offers a score that is heady yet gentle, profound yet ethereal, in which the white balls acquire a form of autonomy, becoming complete partners to better represent the fragments of emotions and life.
