Bagouet finds its own way, where hallucination born of the suspension of time, the expansion of space and infinite detail in relation to the movement, text, voice and sound.

Choreography: Dominique Bagouet

From an extract of Victor Bâton’s lonely adventures imagined by E. Bove in “Mes amis”, here is the course of a man listening to the text, to the music inspired by this very text, and seeming to be similar to the character, bordering on performance…

This character is also constantly listening to himself, bordering on paranoia.

So looking for improbable friends, Victor Bâton finds himself the victim of pathetic and involuntarily comical and painful situations.

The actor thus stays in contact with this ‘soul level’ text written by Bove, but he is also confronted with and depends (like dancers) on a musical environment which could be considered (without any realism) as the amplification at every level of his own inside noise; he could be also in contact  with himself, in the most private details (at ‘body level’), with his nearest universe (objects, pieces of furniture…), with the environment (streets, corridors, public places…), or, which is the most complicated, he could be in contact with the others. All these relations will depend only on himself as a form of some unconscious tenacity.
