Parallèle
Recorded at the Centre national de la danse in Pantin 7 June 2013
Conceived as the partner piece of “Crossroads”, created in 2012 for the Hautes Tensions festival (Parc de la Villette, Paris), “Parallèle” stages four female personalities with radically different feelings and journeys. On their own or as a group, the dancers create a space where energies overlap, accumulate and sketch a portrait of the woman of today. Fusing hip-hop and contemporary styles, the dance is a hybrid, a melting pot of choreographic shapes created by the dancers – an original work on the concept of the “parallel”.
