The story goes that, perched upon their own horses, Jean-Claude Gallotta’s dancers roam Cervantes’ work as if it were a land which still existed today. But times have changed. At the crossroads between what is imaginary and what is real, between gestures and words, they often meet reality. Hard, true, inevitable, indisguisable reality. Don Quixote was right – today, giants have replaced windmills. The battle will be furious and unequal.
