Between tradition and avant-garde, Andrés Marín echoes Llorenç Barber’s bells, a veritable dialogue between flamenco and contemporary experimental music. Andrés’ dance resonates and calls back memories; the bells ring and transport us through history on a contemporary sound. With flamenco that bares its soul and music heavy with symbolism, this piece is an encounter which, beyond the musical perspective provided by the bells, brings a real aesthetic dimension to a new flamenco scene which comes straight from the dancer’s guts.
