“Antichambre” was commissioned by the Biennale Nationale de Danse du Val de Marne 1989 as a coproduction with the company Le Marietta Secret.
“Antichambre” was commissioned by the Biennale Nationale de Danse du Val de Marne 1989 as a coproduction with the company Le Marietta Secret. This piece is revived in a new version, thanks to a residency at the Université d’Orléans La Source, organised by Danses au Centre / L’Isadora.
“…then he looks at his watch. He paces up and down the room. He stops for a moment in front of the large mirror fixed to the wall, and, with a small pocket comb, he smoothes his hair and burgeoning moustache. He goes towards the antechamber and listens. Nothing stirs. So he pulls open the blue doors in the bedroom doorway. Someone rings. He shivers slightly. Then he sits down in an armchair and only gets up when the door opens and a young woman enters…”
