Laurent Goumarre is a journalist in culture and a radio producer. 

He began in life by practicing figure skating for eight years in Cantal until the age of fourteen, before continuing after the baccalaureate his literary studies in Khâgne in Montpellier.

He then became a professor of literature, editor in the medical field, psychoanalysis and personal development at Editions Masson / Inter Editions then editor-in-chief of the culture pages of Têtu magazine, columnist of the dance pages of Artpress, ELLE, Max, Offshore and To dance. He joined France Culture as a collaborator, thanks to Laure Adler who was then its director, in 1999 and took part in numerous programs: Studio danse, Le Chantier, Minuit dix then Le Rendez-Vous at 19h00, “live newspaper on the thread of cultural news “. In September 2010, he joined the programming of the Biennale de la danse de Lyon after a stint at the Montpellier Dance Festival from 1999 to 2007.

Since the start of the 2015 school year, after six years of his Rendez-vous at France Culture, it is now on France Inter, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., that he invites his guests to a New Rendez-vous.

He directed the film series Paroles de chorégraphes for the Center Pompidou: Raimund Hoghe, La Ribot, Alain Buffard, Vera Mantero, Régine Chopinot, Jennifer Lacey.

He is also the author of “Pascal Rambert in real time” (Solitaires intempestifs, 2005) and co-author of “La Ribot” (CND, 2004), “Pratiques contemporaines” (Dis voir, 1999).
