Kshemavati

 Kshemavati is, in the 80s, the most remarkable dancer of Mohini Attam. Trained in Kerala Kalamandalam, she then ran her own school. Her dance school has attracted international talent from Germany, France, Sweden and Finland. Her approach to pure dance – nritta – like her interpretation of emotions – abhinya – goes beyond pure technical perfection and illuminates this fascinating style. 

She received the Padma Shri Price in 2011 for her contributions to the Mohini Attam dance.
