Ami Garmon

Ami Garmon, of American origin, is a dancer, interpreter, and performer, moving between Berlin and Paris. From 1994 to 2001, she produced one-woman-shows for theatres and museums. Some of the artists she has worked with are Julia Jarcho (of 13p New York), Dirk Cieslak – Lubrikat and Janina Janke Oper Dynamo, Marco Berrettini, Pierre Droulers, Mark Tompkins, Philippe Jamet and Philippe Decouflé. In 2002 she received a grant for the research and creation of a solo, ”s’cube” with the choreographer Steve Paxton, presented at Pôle Sud-Strasbourg.
