Resident

This  videodance is entitled « resident ». The dancer was filmed in  improvisation in a place dedicated to the street-art North of the city  of Paris. Video capture has then been treated in real-time (Vjing)  during the creation of the musical. The urban dancing body thus created  is multiple, both organic and synthetic, and emphasizes human  intervention in a digital process. A choreography is built by fragments,  using water as a poetic frame to dematerialise our urban environment.  Then operates a transmutation of the body in the form of « a human drop ».  The time undergoes a hydromorphic transformation in expanding,  sometimes by freezing or by accelerating, correlated with the musical  form. This video is a tribute to the urban imagination. The exaltation  of a movement released from physical constraints gives to rethink our  perception of urban space.
