Éist invites us to listen to the dancer. A short film
Experimental dance created to explore the musicality of percussive dance. The soundtrack was created through a collaboration with Irish dancer Stephanie Keane and concertina player Cormac Begley. With sonic and gestural exploration at the heart of this film, Éist explores the intimate experience of the traditional Irish dance performer through sound and movement. It thus addresses the theme of identity, defying conventions and pushing the limits.
